The project was made for the people that lived within the local area and wanted to start up their own business but they need the advice and help with the planning of their business.
With our funding they were able to make their introductory business advice session “Head for Business” available to a wider range of people who was thinking of starting a business. The workshop, in the evening, was suitable for people who were in employment but were thinking of starting a business. This may have been brought about by necessity due to possible redundancy.
They were able to make 99 additional places available in this way, and 83 people registered to attend. They also made available an additional 53 places by way of 1 to 1 advice sessions, of which 40 were booked. As a result, 10 new businesses where established by people accessing the services in this way.
